The warnings continue.

Matt 16:6-12
6 “BE CAREFUL,” JESUS SAID TO THEM. “BE ON YOUR GUARD AGAINST THE YEAST OF THE PHARISEES AND SADUCEES.”
7 They discussed this among themselves and said, “It is because we didn’t bring any bread.”
8 Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, “You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread?
9 Do you still not understand? Don’t you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?
10 Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?
11 How is it you don’t understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
12 THEN THEY UNDERSTOOD THAT HE WAS NOT TELLING THEM TO GUARD AGAINST THE YEAST USED IN BREAD, BUT AGAINST THE TEACHING OF THE PHARISEES AND SADUCEES.

There seems to be something fundamentally wrong with a man that regards himself as a Pastor.

These supposed “teachers” appear to be the greatest hindrance to learning about God.

How can a man learn about God from a person who doesn’t know God?

Inevitably the message will be contaminated…… unless the message is a referral to the person who came from God.

Would you seek medical advice from a hair dresser?

Of course not….. you would seek advice from a doctor because he has the expertise in that field.

But when it comes to God…… everybody is an expert.

Everybody seems to know what they are talking about.

All sorts of opinions and perspectives are floating around masquerading as truth from a bunch of people who wouldn’t know the truth if it hit them in the face.

All kinds of pastors preach all kinds of messages about God…….

We soak up the information and accept it simply because “he is a pastor”.

But where is this pastor getting his information from?

Why get second hand information when you can get it from a man who came from God?

We have been masked with the illusion that hair dressers are in the business of giving medical advice.

But what we don’t realize…… is that a hair dresser can never teach you about medicine.

Mark 12:38-40
38 As he taught, Jesus said, “WATCH OUT FOR THE TEACHERS OF THE LAW. THEY LIKE TO WALK AROUND IN FLOWING ROBES AND BE GREETED IN THE MARKETPLACES,
39 AND HAVE THE MOST IMPORTANT SEATS IN THE SYNAGOGUES AND THE PLACES OF HONOUR AT BANQUETS.
40 THEY DEVOUR WIDOWS HOUSES AND FOR A SHOW MAKE LENGTHY PRAYERS. SUCH MEN WILL BE PUNISHED MOST SEVERELY.”

It’s all a show…… and we need to be aware of this…… otherwise we will be deceived.

Just because a man is highly esteemed, respected and wears an expensive suit……does not mean that he knows what he is talking about.

But there is someone else who does.

And he challenges us to put what he says to the test.

To be continued……

i have read a couple of your write ups and its funny how u talk about following the bible literally yet u judge Christians, Paul the apostle, Pastors etc. funnier still is how u even manage to believe in Jesus since most of all we have been taught as Christians are lies taught by “hair dressers”.

I have never spoken about following the bible literally. Quite the opposite actually. What i have spoken about though is the difference between the Christian beliefs and practices of today and compared that with the actual message of Christ.

Am i wrong for trying to get a better understanding of why Christ was sent, and discovering in the process that Christians have gotten certain fundamental things wrong?

Rather than have a problem with the fact that i have the nerve to say something. Why not try engaging me in a discussion about the things that have been said?

I dare say we can both learn something from each other.
